Sailing is a passion that began early for Francis when his father started him sailing in 1975 at the age of 8. Years of regattas in habitable boats, a great family cruise in 1997/1998, 2 transatlantic races, a few seasons of racing in Formula 18, a small record of success in double-handed offshore racing, a shipyard, a shipchandler… are all experiences that allow a knowledge of different boats, and a good culture of boating in general. Since the Vannes agency opened in 1990, Francis has sold several hundred boats. He was in Brittany until the 2000s, then went to the West Indies, then to La Rochelle, before settling in Hyères where MED’IN BOATS was born in 2011. Francis has acquired a solid knowledge of navigation and technique which brings great credibility to his role as team manager.

After growing up in the West Indies and traveling extensively, Victorine finally settled in the sunny Côte d’Azur. She has a degree in international trade and a Master’s degree in Tourism Project Management. Victorine began her career in the management of real estate, boats and tourist activities. With a father who was a diver and an older brother who was a captain, her passion for the sea and nautical activities was born at the age of 3, when she made her first bubbles with a regulator in the warm waters of the Caribbean. Then it is in the world of Yachting that she ends up diving. First as a Saleswoman, then in Management-Charter, then as a Yacht Broker by joining the MED’IN BOATS team in 2019. More used to motor boats at the beginning, her new challenge would be to live the experience of a transatlantic race towards her beloved Guadeloupe.

Vincent has always had an attraction for the marine environment and the discovery of new horizons. After growing up by the ocean in the Vendée, he decided to study marine biology, which took him to Nantes, Biarritz, Arcachon, Bordeaux and Brest. In 2016, he flew to Guyana to complete a doctoral thesis in oceanography which he obtained in 2020. With the desire to go on an adventure, he then decided to learn to sail and bought a sailboat to cross the Atlantic Ocean on his own boat. In October 2021, after a year and a half of preparation, he leaves Saint Gilles Croix de Vie and arrives a few months later in the Caribbean where he drops anchor.
