A decade later, his son Jaume joined the company and learned the trade in turn. Today, Jaume Gallart is the current president of the company. Visibility in the United States and the success of motor yachts

In 1958, GALLART is the first brand to exhibit a yacht at the Barcelona Sample Fair. Thanks to its participation, the shipyard creates a long-standing commercial relationship with the United States. Thus, this exhibition allows GALLART to sell a boat to an American influencer. As a result, the shipyard further strengthens its ties with this key market.

Over the years, GALLART has exported more than 200 yachts entirely made of wood. Thus, the shipyard participated in the New York Boat Show in 1967.

GALLART has also been very successful in the motor yacht segment, with several models built in lengths ranging from 10 to 20 meters. The largest motor yacht built by GALLART measured 27 meters and was also made of wood.

GALLART pioneer of fiberglass in the Mediterranean

GALLART is the first brand in the Mediterranean to mass produce fiberglass boats. In particular with the flagship model GALLART 13.50 MP, of which 150 units were produced. In the 1980s, the shipyard continued to innovate. Gallart launches remarkable models. Specifically – the revolutionary motor sailboat GALLART 13.50 MS, as well as four regatta boats of the “Tonnerre de Brest” class. Moreover, these regatta boats are made of epoxy resins and carbon fiber. Also, the GALLART 10.50 MP is a great success with more than 100 units produced.

The international expansion of GALLART and its collaboration with the great names in naval architecture

The shipyard started to export its boats all over the world in 1957. GALLART reached markets such as Japan, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. In addition, the company worked with important shipyards and renowned naval architects.

Since the 2000s, GALLART continues to produce boats with superior quality, using modern materials and applying the latest technological advances.
